The Grand Palace (พระบรมมหาราชวัง, Phra Borom Maha Ratcha Wang) is a complex of buildings and palaces in Dusit area. It is by far one of the most emblematic sightseeing available to visit and an absolute must-see. It served as the official residence of the Kings of Thailand from the 18th century onwards. The Construction of the Palace began in 1782, during the reign of King Rama I, when he moved the capital across the river from Thonburi to Bangkok. The Palace has been constantly expanded and many additional structures were added over time. The present King of Thailand, King Rama IX, however, resides at the Chitralada Palace










Chatuchak (จตุจักร) Market


Chatuchak Market (also know as JJ market or Week-end market). It is The Worlds Biggest Weekend Market (about 1.2 square km) selling practically everything and anything under the sun, from the smallest nails, to foods, trendy fashions, antiques, intricate wooden carvings, adorable fluffy dogs, colorful fish of every hue and singing birds. There are almost 9,000 individual booths overflowing with every imaginable type of wares to catch your fancy. It can easily be reached by Skytrain (BTS ) or Underground train (MRT).
